I have tried creating a text version of my loot table and upload it to the website. Sadly when I try to upload the button says "uploading.." and never does anything. I even let run for a full day and it still wouldn't upload. Then I tried creating an excel version and it still would not upload. Finally I decided to create a table on the site using the Sub Table editor thing, and I created a Sub-Table but when I go to add a section, it does not work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

PS. I looked at the log file for WebDKP; Could I just add the loot table into the lua? If so, what would be the general format?

In order to upload a file it must be formatted correctly. Use the addon in wow to start a table then just modify it. You will be able to see the format once you open the lua file.

I just loaded a private server, didn't work. The addon has no function to create a loot table. It has a function to create a DKP table.
I went into the help of the addon and it informed me that I need to create a loot table on the website. I used the correct format for both times I tried uploading my loot tables to the website. I used the format found on the website. Any other suggestions?

By loot table you mean a table of items with their dkp values, correct? I thought you meant the table containing who won what. I believe under admin you can create the loot table. Could you post your file? Ill check it when I have desktop access.

Hey hex,

When you upload it can only handle tab separated values. You can just have the item name and the cost. No instance info. You can also go into the admin panel / Loot Table and follow the pictures below to create a new table and add to it.
1.) Type the name of the Table then click Create Table.
2.) Type the name of a section then click Create New Section.
3.) Add item names, exact, and then the cost then click Add Loot.

Hope that helps.

Okay so just to clarify; your using the www.webdkp.com site to do this, correct?
If so, it must just be my account..

Thats what I keep getting, tried uploading a tab formatted loot table and all I got was "uploading..".
Thanks.

Strange, it works fine for me. Try a different name for the section. There could be an issue since you have the table name the same as the section. I'd recommend calling your table something more like Primary Table, then creating a section like Icecrown Citadel.

Problem Solved!! Cheesy
Figured out that Google Chrome is not supported by WebDKP.com.
Had to use Internet Explorer 8. Thanks for the help.

I'm having a similar issue with Chrome on my hosted WebDKP page.
I've submitted the issue to Google.
