New to Zerosum

Okay, as the title states, I'm new to zerosum but have been using the addon for about 10 months.  Using just a normal award dkp/award item system everything was announced in chat.

ex.  Everyone Awarded 5 DKP for 1st Hour.
ex.  Zoidburg Awarded [Bastion of Purity] for 30 DKP.

when I award something with zerosum I get spammed with 25 messages of So and so autoawarded 0.6 DKP.  And I get that 25 times an item.

Is there something I'm missing?  In my perfect world it would read "Zoidburg Awarded [Bastion of Purity] for 25 DKP.  Everyone Awarded 1.0 as a result."  Something along those lines.  Please get back to me.

Hey Zoidburg. Truth be told, I've never tested the zero sum system. I knew what it was supposed to do and don't believe I ever modified anything to the code, however it is possible I screwed something up along the way, or it's been like that for a long time and you're the first to notice it. I will look into it and get back to this thread, in any case it should be an easy fix when I get some time here. "On vacation".

Did a quick check into the code.

It is currently set to spam for every person in the raid/group. I'd agree with your assessment that it should just do a raid announcement saying something like Everyone has been awarded a zero sum award of __. I'll make a quick mod probably tomorrow and post it here for you to test.

I tested it with me and another officer and awarded items at an even amount such as 2 (in other words we would each get one) etc.

It announced it and took away DKP from the buyer but it did not divide it amongst the raid.  And I was in a raid so I know that wasn't a factor.

I had 115 and he had 210.  I awarded an item to myself for 2 DKP.  I should have 114 as a result and he should have 211.  But instead I got deducted the 2 and ended up at 113, and his didn't move at all.

Works perfectly but would it be possible to add the name of the character and the name of the item to the announce?

Also when I undo an award with zerosum, it gets all broken.  It refunds the cost of the item to the person that bought it but it does not return DKP awarded.

so a piece bought for 10 divided amongst 2 people, each get 5 DKP.  When I undo the item award, as a result, both people are still 5 DKP higher than they originally were.

Hate to post all these bugs and such here but when synching in game it doesn't carry the decimal.  Friend has 210.54 DKP and when he synchs it ends up him having 210 for his table.

I'm not sure how many people use the zerozum system so it's definitely useful to have someone post issues. I will work on these soon too.

Try replacing these files, I found a bug in the way it was writing the auto award for zerosum to the log file. You may still get some errors until you synch to the web or clear your log. I also made some adjustments to the announcement. This should fix the Undo for the item/award log. I still need to take a look at the synching stuff.

OMG! your a genius.  Works perfectly man, announcements are right on key.  And as far as the undo, it separates the item and the zerosum award as a result which is just the bees knees.  Let me know when you get to the synching, really looking forward to it.  

And btw I did refresh log file straight from website before i tested this so my log was cleared.

I've identified the issue with the synching along with identifying an issue with synching for zerosum. I'm working on a solution now.
